Udupi, Oct 25, 2021: Late Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt will be posthumously conferred the Padma Vibhushan Award at a ceremony to be held in New Delhi on November 8.
Sri Vishwesha Theertha was selected for the award for his remarkable social service, in 2020. However the award presentation could not be held last year due to Covid pandemic.
Sri Vishwa Prasanna Theertha Swamiji, the present pontiff of Pejawar Mutt will receive the Award.
