Murder accused veterinarian remanded to judicial custody

Belthangady, May 16, 2024: Veterinarian Kumar of Arasinamakki veterinary centre who has been arrested in a case of murder, has been produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody.
On Monday evening, Kumar had allegedly assaulted Krishnappa (58) of Patrame following which the latter had collapsed to death. It is learnt Krishnappa who was ailing was just discharged from hospital. The reason behind the incident is not known.
A case of murder was registered after Bharathi, the wife of the deceased lodged a complaint at Dharmasthala police station. The veterinarian was subsequently arrested.
