Mangaluru, July 16, 2019: The two-day District Youth Parliament organised at the ZP office here on July 16, Tuesday was inaugurated by Mangalore University Vice-chancellor Dr P S Yadapadithaya. The event is jointly organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, United Nations Development Programme and Nehru Yuva Kendra.
In his address, the Vice Chancellor stressed the need to channelize youth power in the right direction for the progress of the nation.
ZP CEO Dr R Selvamani and many others were present.
The Youth Parliament is a great opportunity for the youth to know about the functioning of the Parliament.
