Mangaluru: Canara Engineering Industrial Tech Expo 2026 inaugurated at Karavali Utsav Grounds

Mangaluru, May 2, 2026: The Canara Engineering Industrial Tech Expo 2026, organised by the Canara Industries Association, was held at the Karavali Utsav Grounds in Mangaluru.

Karnataka Legislative Assembly Speaker U.T. Khader, Mangaluru MP Capt. Brijesh Chowta, and other dignitaries inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp.

Speaking on the occasion, Speaker U.T. Khader said that organizing such meaningful programmes to promote education, innovation, and awareness in society is commendable. He emphasized that education is the foundation of true progress and plays a crucial role in shaping both individual and national futures. He also expressed hope that more such events would be held.

MLA Dr. Y. Bharath Shetty (Mangaluru North), Achal Group Chairman G. Giridhar Prabhu, Canara Industries Association President M.D. Poojary, Canara Bank General Manager Manjunath S. Singai, SIDBI General Manager Subba Rao Sripathi, Expo Chairman N. Arun Padiyar, Garodi Steel proprietor Manoj Kumar Saripalla, MRPL GGM Prashanth Shankar, NMPA Deputy Traffic Manager Chandrashekar Palekar, and several others were present on the occasion.
