MRPL wins 11 awards at 15th PRCI Excellence Awards in Goa

Goa, September 30, 2025: Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd. (MRPL) delivered a stellar performance at the 15th PRCI (Public Relations Council of India) Excellence Awards 2025, winning eleven prestigious accolades, including Gold in three prominent categories: Best Community PR Event, Best Music Video, and Best Employee Event.

The awards were presented at a glittering ceremony held in Goa on September 27. The event was graced by the Hon’ble Speaker of the Goa Legislative Assembly, Shri Ganesh Gaonkar, renowned actress Ester Noronha, and senior members of the Public Relations Council of India’s National Executive Committee (PRCI NEC).

Dr. Rudolph Joyer Noronha, Chief General Manager, along with his team, received the awards on behalf of MRPL — marking a proud moment for the organization and recognizing its excellence in communication and stakeholder engagement.

The PRCI Excellence Awards are organized to recognize and celebrate outstanding efforts by corporates in the field of Public Relations and Strategic Communication. This year, more than 100 organizations participated across 50 categories, with over 600 entries received for evaluation.

MRPL wins ‘Karnataka Best Employer Brand Award 2025’

MRPL has been honoured with the prestigious “Karnataka Best Employer Brand Award 2025”, at a ceremony held on 18th September 2025 at Taj MG Road, Bengaluru. The event was endorsed by CHRO Asia and recognized organizations that have demonstrated outstanding contributions to human resources, leadership, and people development.

The Karnataka Best Employer Brand Awards celebrate institutions that have shown resilience, innovation, and a forward-looking approach in their HR strategies. 

This award is a testimony to MRPL’s sustained efforts to create a people-centric organization, cultivating competencies for the future and building a strong foundation for growth and transformation.

The award was presented by Dr Venkata Ramana Akkaraju, Chairperson of New Mangalore Port Authority and Mr. Subhakar Rao Surapaneni, Chairman of Champions Group. On behalf of MRPL, the award was received by Mr. Kasiviswanadham Malla, Manager – HR.
