MLC Ivan D’Souza honours brave cops of Urwa police station

Mangaluru, July 13, 2024: MLC Ivan D’Souza, former mayor Shashidhar Hegde and other Congress leaders visited the Urwa police station and felicitated the police team which fired at the notorious Chaddi gang members who tried to escape during spot mahajar.
Sub-inspector Bharathi who fired at the accused was honoured on the occasion.
It may be recalled here that the police arrested the Chaddi gang members at Sakleshpur within hours of the latter looting a house at Urwa Kotekani by attacking an elderly couple living in the house.
