MCC team raids illegal massage parlours and skill game centres in the city

Mangaluru, Jul 11, 2017 : Illegal massage parlour and skill game centres in the city  raided by Mayor Kavitha Sanil along with the MCC team on July 11, Tuesday.

 

First the team raided the Olive Leaf Ayurvedic Therapy Centre at Bejai and rescued two girls from there. Then moved on  to raid Paradise unisex beauty spa at Jyothi , but by the time they reached it was down shuttered. Later moved on to Green Valley unisex salon near the Collector’s Gate in Balmatta, followed by Royal Spa at Jyothi, which was also closed .


Mayor said that ,We have been urging the police  to curb the mushrooming of such parlours in residential areas by branding themselves as massage or spa parlours. There were  many such massage parlours operating in the city and most of them were involved in illegal activities but, they were closed after the police crackdown.

Regarding the skill game centres she said  youths are led in the wrong path and waste their parents’ money .

She also said that  their continual efforts to weed out these illegal activities cracked down on a spa, an ayurvedic centre , unisex salon  and skill games centres in different parts of the city.

case has been registered and investigations are in progress.
