Kotathattu case : Six members of Koraga community get anticipatory bail

Brahmavar, Feb 28, 2022: Six people belonging to the Koraga community who were booked by the police on the charges of attacking them during a police raid during a Mehendi function at Kotatathattu colony, have been granted anticipatory bail by the Kundapur District and Sessions Court.

 

Those who got bail are Rajesh, Ganesh, Sachin, Girish and Sudarshan. The police had raided the residence of Rajesh following complaints of loud sound of music during Mehendi ceremony. While the police were accused of committing atrocities on members of the Koraga community, the six people belonging to the community were also booked by the police stating they had attacked them and prevented them from discharging their duty.

Meanwhile four others including Nagaraj and Nagendra are yet to get bail.
