Isubu confesses about Taliban court and communal organizationsMangalore, Dec 11: The recent arrest of Madoor Yusuf alias Madoor Isubu, an associate of underworld don Chota Shakeel, has opened a Pandora’s Box of cases that were either closed or had never seen the light of day. Some of these cases are the murder of Mohan Ranya, the disappearance of Shakira Banu from Ullal, and others. Isubu has claimed that he is responsible for the murder of Ranya.

Reportedly, Isubu has provided a lot of information regarding the forces behind communal riots in India and the involvement of communal organizations in the murder of several individuals, including Hindu leaders.

Hinting at the presence of a Taliban court in Mangalore, he said that Shakira Banu, who ran a brothel in Ullal, was murdered according to an order issued by the court in 2001 and was written off as an unsolved missing person case. Shakira consistently ignored repeated telephone calls advising her to discontinue her activity and was therefore made to visit the city, fed intoxicating substance, and killed. Her body was dumped in Shiradi Ghat.

Isubu also told the police about seven communal organizations all over India, having a total of 3,500 members, which decide the fate of individuals. These communal organizations run with money collected for constructing houses for the poor and other purposes, he informed. The police have gathered that Isubu visited Mangalore to engineer the murder of Polali Ananthu, after which he fled to Saudi Arabia. When a red corner notice was issued for his arrest, the organization planned to eliminate him because they feared that he would talk about their existence. He was saved by certain leaders who settled the matter in his favor.

The police have learned that only two of those arrested with regard to the murder of Polali Ananthu are really guilty, while the others are innocent. The case is likely to be reopened for a fresh hearing. The police have also obtained information regarding the funds paid for the murder of Polali Ananthu and Candle Santhu. The secret organization had created a list of 9 Hindus and 3 Muslims to be murdered.
