Bantwal, Nov 25, 2025: A case has been registered after a loud DJ system was allegedly used at a wedding function in Bantwal–Bhandaribettu on Saturday night without obtaining prior permission from the police department.
Police received information that sound amplifiers were being used at Bhandaribettu at volumes exceeding the permitted limit and causing disturbance to public peace. Acting on the tip-off, Bantwal Town Police visited the spot for inspection.
During the inspection, it was found that a loud DJ system was being operated at the wedding venue without securing the required prior permission.
A case has since been registered at the Bantwal Town Police Station in this regard.
