Duo arrested for bid to abduct Kadri Kambla resident

Mangaluru, May 10, 2024: Kadri Police have arrested two persons on the charges of trying to kidnap a resident of Kadri Kambla.
Those arrested are Akshay and Prajwal of Panemangalore. It is learnt the Kadri Kambla man had availed a loan of Rs 18 lakhs from a person residing abroad. Though he had repaid Rs 12.5 lakhs, he was reportedly being pressurized to repay the balance amount.
However as the balance was not repaid, the lender reportedly gave supari to the two men to abduct him and the duo were trapped during the kidnapping attempt.
