Driver dies after car crashes into tree while avoiding Cow in Udupi

Bramhavar, March 14, 2025: In an attempt to avoid a cow that suddenly appeared on the road, a car crashed into a roadside tree, resulting in the driver’s death. The incident took place near Kurpadi bus stop in Hosuru village.
The deceased has been identified as Srikanth Acharya (38). On March 12, in the afternoon, a car traveling from Hebri encountered a cow blocking the road. To avoid hitting the animal, the driver swerved the car towards the left side of the road onto the dirt shoulder. However, he lost control, and the vehicle crashed into a tree by the roadside.
Srikanth suffered severe injuries and was admitted to Manipal Hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries in the early hours of March 13 at around 1:25 AM. A case has been registered at the Brahmavar police station regarding the incident.
