Recalling the contribution of Bengal Narasimha Rao of Dakshina Kannada during the framing of the Constitution, the Governor said he played a significant role in incorporating several key provisions. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar had also acknowledged Narasimha Rao’s efforts, he noted.

The newly inaugurated Puttur court complex houses 12 court halls and has been constructed in a modern architectural style. Speakers noted that the complex stands as a symbol of constitutional governance.
