Congress minority cell to hold Haj training camp on Oct 7

Moideen Bawa, the president of the DK District Congress Minority Cell, informed reporters that the cell will organize a Hajj training programme on Oct 7, Thursday at Town Hall. He added that over 600 people will attend this camp, which will be presided over by Ibrahim Musliyar, the Qazi of Udupi, while Thwaqa Ahmed Musliyar, the Qazi of Mangalore, will inaugurate the event.

Zainul Aabideen Thangal of Moodigere; Abdul Wahid Faizi, the Khateeb of Central Jumma Masjid Mangalore; S. P. Hamza Saqafi, the editor of Moilanji monthly; B. A. Moideen Haji, the former minister; MLA U. T. Khader; K. S. Mohammed Masood, the president of Muslim Central Committee; Y. Mohammed Kunhi, the president of DK District Wakf Committee; U. K. Monu, the president of Ullal Dargah Committee, will also participate in the event, he informed.

B. M. Farooq, the managing director of Fiza Developers, will distribute Ihram clothes to the Haj pilgrims on the occasion, he said.

Revealing information regarding the direct flight from Mangalore to Jeddah, President of Central Market Merchants’ Association Haji Hameed Kandak said that technical issues such as work on runway expansion and others are hindering the introduction of this flight.

Iddinabba Kalladka, Sudarshan Jain, and Nooruddin were present for the press conference.
