City Police issue guidelines for Mosaru Kudike celebrations

Mangaluru, Sep 02, 2023: In view of Janmashtami and Mosaru Kudike celebrations next week, the city police have issued certain guidelines and instructions to follow for those organizing and participating in Mosaru Kudike celebrations.

 

A press communique from the office of the City Police Commissioner Kuldeep Kumar Jain has said that police permission is mandatory to organise any programme and the maximum height upto which the pots can be tied for Mosarukudike is 14 feet.

The Commissioner has also said that except pots no other things can be tied to the pots. Also cold water should not be sprayed on those people who climb to break the pots, the Commissioner said.

All processions should also have full-fledged ambulances and DJ music cannot be used during processions, the Commissioner said.
