Mangaluru, Dec 06, 2023: Senior BJP leader C T Ravi has lashed out at the recent statements of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah over increasing grants to the Muslim community.

Speaking to reporters at the party office on December 6, Wednesday, he said this was a dangerous mentality and nothing but appeasement with an eye on votes. He went on to claim that the Congress was a real communal party.

He said the BJP aims at winning all 28 seats in the state in the next Lok Sabha elections.

On reports that senior party leader V Somanna may quit the BJP, Ravi said the party will not allow him to leave.

District BJP President Sudarshan Moodbidri and other leaders were present.
