Brahmavar, Oct 20, 2021: Two teenagers drowned in a lake at Uggelbettu Madisalu on October 19, Tuesday afternoon, while swimming.

The deceased are Shreyas (18), son of Uday Kumar of Chantharu and  Anas (16) of Waramballi. The two along with a friend Sanjay had been to the lake for a swim. While  Sanjay was close by the banks the other two were swimming right in the middle of the lake when they drowned.   Sanjay who was terrified  had returned home without informing anyone about the tragedy.

The family members of the two were later informed and  a frantic search ensued. The bodies of the two were found near the Herur railway bridge on Wednesday morning.

A case has been registered by the Brahmavar police.
