Brahmavar : 1 dead, another critical as car overturns

Mangaluru, Dec 22, 2021: An elderly man who was travelling in a car lost his life while his wife sustained injuries after their car rammed into an telephone pole and overturned  near the  Koodli Durgaparameshwari Gadduge Mariamma Temple Cross in Herady village on December 21,  Tuesday.

The deceased is U B Prabhaker Rao (80). His wife Usha P Rao is seriously injured. The car driver Vishwa Prasad Rao and Shivaprasad Rao who was sitting on the front seat have escaped unhurt.

The car was proceeding towards Barkur when the driver lost control over the vehicle on a slopy road.

Brahmavar Police have registered a case.
