Belthangady: Three Kasaragod youths booked for allegedly harassing women at waterfall

Mangaluru, May 21, 2026: A case has been registered against three youths from Kerala’s Kasaragod for allegedly sexually harassing young women at a waterfall spot within the Belthangady police station limits.

According to police, three young women studying in Mangaluru had visited the waterfall on May 20, 2026, when the accused — Abdul Khader Altaf (36), Faizal Adil (27) and Usman Saleem (18) — allegedly misbehaved with them and subjected them to sexual harassment.


Harrasement-Three booked

When the women objected to the behaviour, members of the public present at the spot intervened, restrained the accused and alerted the police. Belthangady police later brought the three accused to the station for questioning.

A case has been registered at the Belthangady police station under Crime No. 60/2026, and further investigation is underway.
