6 people arrested in connection with Sandeep Shetty murder case

Ullal, Nov 16, 2011 : The Ullal police arrested 6 people on Nov 15 in connection with the murder of Sandeep Shetty, whose dead body was discovered at Someshwar Railway Crossing on Nov 13 Sunday.

The arrested are Keshava, who is related to Sandeep; Sandesh and Bhushan of Someshwar; Nishanth, a student; Suraj, an auto rickshaw driver of Madoor; and Preethesh of Konaje. They are all in their early twenties.

Police sources say that the six committed the murder because they wanted to establish themselves in the underworld.

 

Sandeep, suspected of being an associate of Bannanje Raja, had turned over a new leaf recently and had stayed away from crime.
