Mangaluru, April 23, 2025: It has been a month since 17-year-old Swathi went missing from Pakshikere, leaving her family in anguish and still searching for answers.
Swathi, a first-year pre-university student at a private college, was working at a local clothing store during her holidays. She usually left for work around 9 a.m. and returned home by 6 p.m. But on March 25, everything changed. The shop owner arrived to find Swathi missing—her belongings, including her bag and clothes, were still inside the store.
Neighbors later told her parents they saw Swathi getting into an auto-rickshaw that day—the last known sighting of her.
Her family immediately filed a missing person’s complaint at the Mulky police station. Since then, they have tirelessly searched for any trace of her, but no concrete leads have emerged. Authorities confirm the investigation remains active.
As the days stretch into weeks, Swathi’s parents continue to plead for public support.
Anyone with information about Swathi’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Mulky police station without delay.
