1 dead, 2 critical as two cars collide near Kaup

Puttur, Feb 21, 2022: One person lost his life while two others sustained serious injuries in a collision between two cars at Mandyagana near Kaup on the Maani-Mysuru Highway on February 20, Sunday.

The deceased is Raju from Madikeri. He was driving an i20 car which was involved in a collision with a Swift car. One of those seriously injured is Jyothi from Bejai. Those in the Swift car have also suffered injuries including its driver Moidin Kunhi from Kaikamba.

A family from Bejai was returning to their native place after visiting Talacauvery whe the mishap took place.
