Youth Congress to hold vehicle rally and protest against BJP failures

Mangalore, Mar 2, 2012: The Youth Congress will hold a vehicle rally followed by a protest meeting, during which they will condemn the various failures of the BJP-led state government, at Mudipu on March 4 Sunday.

Making the above announcement at a press meet held today, Sirajuddin Kinya, the president of the Ullal Block Youth Congress, said that the purpose of the protest is to highlight various state government scams and scandals and to bring public attention to the fact that the government has failed to provide ration cards, drinking water, window pension, and many other benefits.

MLA U. T. Khader will inaugurate the rally. C. M. Ibrahim and Janardhan Poojary, the former union ministers; MP Oscar Fernandes; MLA Ramanath Rai; Mithun Rai, the president of the district Youth Congress; and several other Congress leaders will participate in the protest.

The vehicle rally will pass through Asaigoli, Deralakatte, Thokkottu, Beeri, BC Road, Kinya, Manjanady, Montepadavu, Hoo Hakuva Kallu, and Kairangala, before reaching Mudipu.
