Kundapur, June 25, 2013 : The advocate for Ramesh Bayari, the prime accused in the sensational murder case of Congress worker and RTI activist Vandaru Vasudeva Adiga, has moved an application in the High Court withdrawing the bail petition of his client.
This interesting development comes after the bench headed by Justice Sridhar Rao while considering the bail petition moved two weeks ago, took into cognizance various aspects like a petition filed against granting conditional bail, moving of bail petition directly in High Court and such other aspects.
The petition though was earlier moved before the vacation bench of the High Court, the same was moved to the bench headed by Justice Sridhar Rao which is handling the case. Bayari is presently in judicial custody.
On the other hand, Subrahmanya Udupa, another accused in the case has already been granted conditional bail.
