Mangalore, March 16: Trivikram Kamath needs urgent financial help for his survival.In a rare feat, 64 years old B Trivikram Kamath, a former tourist taxi driver is diagnosed of Hemophilia. Hemophilia is a fatal disease where the blood loses its ability to clot and continue to bleed during internal or external injury.

 

As per the doctor’s prescription, the treatment is highly expensive. Along with expensive medications, it requires blood infusion in large quantities. A single dose of Factor-IX injection which controls bleeding costs Rs. 13,500.

Mr Kamath was hospitalized for five times in a span of ten months infusing 122 bottles of blood with overall expenditure exceeding Rs Five Lakhs.

Mr Kamath who now lives with his wife since the marriage of his only daughter, being the sole bread-winner of the family finds it difficult to cope with the expenditure.

Following Doctor’s advice he had to discontinue his occupation. With no income, the huge expense of the frequent treatment and the burden of repaying the money he had borrowed give him sleepless nights.

Under these circumstances Mr Kamath, looks forward to receive financial assistance from his good-hearted friends and well wishers.
