Sullia: Youth arrested for sexual assault on PUC student

Sullia, May 17, 2022: Police have arrested a youth from Sullia on the charges of sexually assaulting a girl after luring her and taking her to a lodge in Sullia.
The arrested person is Ashwin of Kakkaje in Mandekolu. He had reportedly befriended the girl, a PUC student and had asked her to come to Sullia last month and had later sexually abused her in a lodge.
As per the complaint lodged by the girl’s mother, the accused has been arrested. He has been produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody.
