Sowjanya’s mother files complaint against unknown men for trying to inflict harm

Belthangady, Aug 05, 2023: Kusumavathi, mother of Sowjanya who was brutally raped and murdered eleven years ago near Dharmasthala, has lodged a complaint with the Belthangady police alleging that an unknown person along with his accomplices tried to misbehave and even attempted to assault her son.
Kusumavathi along with her daughters and son had been to the gathering convened at Ujire by the devotees of Lord Manjunatha on August 4 demanding justice to Sowjanya and to oppose attempts to defame Dharmasthala Kshetra by some people.
Kusumavathi and her children were seen holding placards seeking justice for Sowjanya when some people subjected them to humiliation and also tried to attack her son.
It may be mentioned here that Kusumavathi has been fighting a relentless battle seeking justice for her daughter Sowjanya.
