RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat visits Udupi Mutt, conferred Krishna Gitanugraha award

Udupi, December 9, 2024: RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat visited Sri Krishna Mutt of Udupi on Sunday and offered prayers to Lord Krishna.

Later at a simple ceremony held at Geetha Mandir, Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji of Paryaya Puttige Mutt conferred the “Hindu Samrat” title on Bhagwath in recognition of his yeoman service towards the protection of Sanatana Dharma.

He also honoured the RSS chief with Sri Krishna Gitanugraha Award and offered him the Prasadam of the Lord.

The Paryaya seer also explained about the various activities at Gita Mandir, Gita Shila Lekhana Dhyana Mandir and Vadiraja Samshodhana Mandir. He also gave details about the Koti Gita Lekhana Yajna project of his Paryaya period.

Senior RSS leader Mukund, Mutt’s Diwan M Nagaraj Acharya and others were present.
