The seer was  speaking at a public meeting as part of ‘Sanyasigala Nade Santrastara Kade’  held at Ullal on February 13, Thursday after  he along with other Hindu religious heads visited the  affected families  at their houses and also spoke to some of them at the Sri Vyaghra Chamundeshwari Temple.

The seer said any attempt to over ride Hinduism will not be tolerated. “We are with you, do not fear,” the seer assured the people.

He said a report will be submitted to the Chief Minister and the Governor on the issue and a request will also be made to provide compensation to the affected. He also urged to drop charges against innocents arrested in connection with the violence and also against some juveniles arrested.
He also came down heavily on Home Minister’s recent statement that the proposed visit of the seer was politically motivated and said as a Hindu religious head it was his duty to visit the affected.
