Gangolli, April 3, 2022: A man was charred to death in an accidental fire in a house at Gangolli on April 3, Sunday morning.
The deceased is Ganesh Kharvi (45) of Doddahitlu. A fisheries worker by profession he had slept at home after work when fire broke out suddenly at around 8.30 am. Unaware of this Kharvi was charred to death.
As he was constructing a new house nearby, he was staying in a small hut along with his wife. His wife had gone out for work in the morning when fire broke out.
Though neighbours on seeing the fire tried to extinguish it, none were aware that Ganesh was inside the house.
Gangolli police have registered a case.
