Mangalore, Sep 26, 2012 : A massive crowd of devotees took part in the grand procession held to immerse the idols of Lord Ganesha on September 25, Tuesday.
The processions looked fabulous with glittering lights, splendidly adorned idols of Lord Ganesha, music, and colorful tableaux.
The Hindu Yuva Sene has been organizing Ganeshotsavas from the past 20 years.
The procession, which was flagged off at Nehru Maidan, passed through AB Shetty Circle, Navabharath Circle, Hampankatta, and Dongerkery, before culminating at Car Street, where the idol was immersed in the temple tank.
The devotees accompanied the procession, singing, dancing, and chanting. The presence of artists, drummers, and fireworks shows made the procession more attractive than ever.
