Kundapur: Headmaster dies in tragic road mishap at Bijur Junction

Kundapur, Aug 14, 2013 : Sanjeeva Nagur (46), the headmaster of the Government Primary School at Taggarse in the taluk met a tragic end when he fell onto the road after his bike skid at Bijur Junction on August 12, Monday night.

Sanjeeva 1 Sanjeeva who hailed from Kirimanjeshwar was on way home from Byndoor when he suddenly lost control over his bike and fell on the ground. The headmaster who sustained serious head injuries though was rushed to the hospital, he died on way.

Sanjeeva who was a favourite teacher of his students was serving Taggarse school as headmaster since the past five years. He had served various schools in Byndoor zone since 20 years.

The body was placed at the school for the students and villagers to pay their last respects. The deceased headmaster is survived by his wife and two daughters.

Byndoor police have registered a case.
