JD(S) fields Bar Association Chief Changappa from Mangalore South

Mangalore, Apr 16, 2013: Mangalore Bar Association president SP Changappa filed   nomination as the JD(S) candidate for the Mangalore South Constituency. He submitted his nomination papers  to Election officer Srikanth Rao at his office at MCC on April 16, Tuesday.

 

 

 

Speaking on the occasion, Changappa said that the BJP led state government in the state was involved in corruption, denotification and illegal mining, while the Congress Government in the centre was involved in various scams including 2G Spectrum, Adarsh, CWG, coal scam, helicopter deal scam, WARDHA, Farm loan and other series of scams. The policies of the governments at the State and Centre,has hit hard the common man in the form of hike in prices of essentials, he said and expressed confidence that the people of the state  would extend support to the JD(S) and bring it to  power with majority.

Changappa was accompanied by  his supporters in the procession  which was taken out from PVS Circle to MCC.

JD(s) leaders Vasanth Poojary, Sushil Noronha, Muneer Mukkacheri, Gopalkrishna Attavar and Ratnakar Suvarna among others were present.
