Internal strifes will prove costly for Congress: DVS

Udupi, April 8, 2013:   The internal differences in the Congress would surely prove detrimental to the party in the coming elections, said DV Sadananda Gowda, BJP National Vice President.

Speaking to reporters  after participating in a BJP workers’ convention at Shesha Shayana Hall of Hotel Kidiyoor on April 7, Sunday, the former CM  while referring to the BJP’s controversies, made it clear that all confusions were a thing of past and have been sorted out.


 He also exuded confidence that the party would win the elections owing to its present clean image sans corruption, denotification scams and unbiased approach. The party is determined to fight elections unitedly, he said.


He claimed that both the Congress and the JD(S) were becoming weaker day by day. DVS also promised that the BJP if elected to power would see to it that Karnataka which was presently in third place in terms of development, would ensure that the state witnessed rapid progress.


Earlier, Raghupathi Bhat, Udupi MLA who addressed the meeting said the Congress has interfered in his personal life. Stating that he would not be able to blame the JD(S) or the Congress on the CD issue, he said it was a conspiracy by his rivals.


On Sudhaker Shetty, the BJP’s Udupi candidate, Raghupathi Bhat said “he is my candidate and his victory would be my victory.”
