Bantwal, Aug 14, 2013 : Hindu Jagarana Vedike State Convenor Jagadish Karanth alleged that the Indian Mujahideen which has posed a threat to the nation’s internal security was operating  even in rural areas under different names.

Speaking at a programme organized by the Vittal unit of the Vedike at Kalladka on August 13, Tuesday, he strongly advocated rebuilding India on the foundation of Hindutva. He also alleged that some leaders were shielding terrorists in the name of secularism.

Krishna Prasad, RSS leader of Puttur presided over the function. Raviraj BC Road, Raviraj Kadaba, Narasimha Mani, taluk unit President of the Vedike and others were present.

A bike rally was also taken out from Panemangalore to Veerakambha prior to the function, amid tight police security.
