Implementation of Congress guarantees has rattled BJP: Ramanatha Rai

Mangaluru, June 03, 2023: Senior Congress leader Ramanatha Rai has said that the BJP was rattled after the Congress government in the state created history by implementing all its guarantees within two weeks of taking charge.

 

 

 

Speaking to reporters at the Congress office on June 3, Saturday, Rai said no other state has implemented such guarantees and described the Congress government as a government that walks the talk.

He also pulled up the BJP leaders for criticizing the Congress over the guarantees promised by it.

He said the BJP government at the Centre which has hesitated to waive the farmers’ loans at the same time had waived loans worth several thousands of crores of the capitalists. Rai was also critical of the statement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other BJP leaders that the nation would go bankrupt by such freebies.

Congress leaders Appi, Baby Kunder, Ashraf, Shashidhar Hegde and others were present.
