Kundapur, Apr 1, 2013: Eric Lavertu, French Consul General from Bangalore and Hemangini Rakshit, Press Attache, visited Hemmady in Kundapur on April 1, Monday and met the grieving family of Krishnaiah Mogaveera, a man hailing from Hemmady who was killed in a gunfire by French troops in a case of mistaken identity near the Bangui Airport in Central African Republic on March 26.
The French Consul General who spoke to reporters after meeting the grieving family members, said the French Government had deep regrets for the incident. He said an enquiry will soon be held and action would follow against those responsible for the killing of an innocent man. The French Consul General also promised early disbursal ofcompensation to the bereaved family.
It has been learnt that the mortal remains of Krishnaiah Mogaveera which has reached Mumbai on March 31, Sunday would be brought to his hometown on April 1, Monday. The funeral will be held the same
evening.

so he wants to meet the parents ,then why does he need the press... unless there is some telepathic way they communicate in ... i dont see why they have to publicize what should be a private moment. |
