The fire in the dumping site is a serious matter, he said  and questioned why no permanent solution has been found. He urged the Mayor and Deputy Commissioner to address the issue.

On BJP leader Eshwarappa’s comments on Azaan and that it disturbs students  preparing for exams, Bava questioned  the BJP public events which go on for hours and asked  if these programmes do not disturb students. He also asked Eshwarappa to remember that the Prime Minister stopped his speech midway to respect Azaan.

On MLA Dr Bharath Shetty’s allegation that he had stepped on temple prasadam, Bava said he was ready to take a vow at a mosque that he had done no wrong and challenged the MLA to do so at Dharmasthala.
