Emirates Paradela/Samanvaya distribute Rs. 3,35,500 in scholarships

Mangalore, Aug 13, 2012 : Samanvaya and Emirates Paradela of UAE distributed Rs. 3,34,500 in scholarships among 59 students in Samanvaya Hall in Urwa Store on August 12, Sunday.

 

 

 

 

Samanvaya Director Fr. Ronald Cuntinho gave a PowerPoint presentation on personality. Emirates Paradela UAE President Benet D’Mello presided and distributed scholarships among the students. He said that the association is happy to help students with their education, adding that it has been spending over Rs. 8 lakh annually on scholarships and charity. The funds are raised by hosting a wide range of cultural events, he added.

Speaking on the occasion, Fr. Ronald Cutinho said that Emirates Paradela and Samanvaya have given away Rs. 22,95,700 to 116 students during the last 7 years.

Four students expressed their gratitude to Samanvaya and Emirates Paradela on this occasion.

Among the dignitaries on the dais were Emirates Paradela General Secretary Grace Noronha, President Rovin D’Souza, and many others.
