Mangalore, May 10, 2014: This being admission season, students often find themselves at the crossroads when it comes to making the right educational choices. To help such students, Manipal Ace, the event management arm of Manipal Group has organized “Mangalore Education Expo-2014" - an exclusive expo for education institutions and banks, at T.M.A. Pai International Convention Centre, Mangalore on 10th and 11th May 2014.

The expo is a platform for various educational institutions, professional colleges and financial institutions to showcase their offerings to the student community. Nearly 50 educational institutions and banks of the region are participating in the Expo, according to Kumble Narasimha Prabhu, CEO of Manipal Ace.

Leading names like Nitte University, Alva’s Educational Institutions, Karavali Group of Colleges, A J Institute of Management, Manipal University, SDM Education Society, Syndicate Bank, Canara bank, Vijaya Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Corporation Bank, Fun Fit Factory and many more participating in the expo, he said.

A Seminar on Career Guidance is also being held as part of the event. Kumble Narasimha Prabhu, CEO of Manipal Ace spoke to the SSLC students, while Ananth Prabhu G., Assistant Professor, Sahyadri College of Engineering addressed the PU students. Other expert speakers will also address the students on Sunday morning at 11 a.m.

Earlier in the morning, A.B. Ibrahim, Deputy Commissioner of D.K. District had inaugurated the expo in the presence of K.R.Shenoy, Executive Director, Vijaya Bank, HO Bangalore who was the Chief Guest. Ramakrishna, Chief Manager, Indian Overseas Bank (Regional Office) and Vinod Kumar, CEO, Manipal Media Network Ltd., Manipal were the guests of honor.

“After the success of ’Hubli Education Expo-2013’, Manipal Ace is organising this event for the first time in Mangalore,” says Kumble Narasimha Prabhu.

Too woo more visitors, the organizers are offering lucky visitors prizes worth Rs.40,000/-
