District BJP stages protest; alleges injustice to DK in state budget

Mangaluru, March 8, 2025: The district unit of the BJP staged a protest near the party office near PVS Circle in the city on Saturday alleging that the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has done injustice to Dakshina Kannada district.
District BJP President Satish Kumpala who addressed the protestors described the budget as anti-people, anti-Dalit and anti-farmer. He said the government has not announced any grant for developmental projects in the district.
The protestors took out a march upto Navabharath Circle.
Party leaders Diwaker Pandeshwar, Nitin Kumar, Ravishanker Mijar, Ravindra Shetty, Sudhir Shetty and others took part in the protest.
