Chandrahas Rai to make movie based on Mohan Kumar case

Mangalore, April 23, 2012 : Chandrahas Rai, who has directed movies such as Singari Bangari, College Hero, Stunt Master, Nayak, Tali Pooje, and others, is determined to make a movie out of the Cyanide Mohan case.

mohan 1 He feels that the case Mohan Kumar aka Cyanide Mohan, who stands accused of murdering a number of young women by giving them cyanide tablets after promising them marriage, is an excellent subject for a new movie.

Mr. Rai wants to convey the social message of how poor, young, and unmarried women can fall into traps set by unscrupulous villains such as Mohan Kumar. His intention is to present a serious movie based on real-life events.

The movie will not be based on Mohan Kumar’s crimes alone, but will have a main character, police investigation, and public response. It is being produced by the Cable Network of Puttur.
