Belthangady: People on way to engagement ceremony meet with accident

Belthangady April 1, 2013 : A jeep carrying people for an engagement ceremony at Buntara Bhavana of Guruvayanakere met with an accident on March 31, Sunday. Four persons travelling in the jeep sustained minor injuries when the jeep collided head on with a bike near Guruvayanakere.

The jeep overturned after the driver applied sudden brake in order to avert collision with the oncoming bike. Even the bike rider sustained minor injuries. Eyewitnesses said rash driving on the part of the bike rider was the cause of the accident. Belthangady police have registered a case.

yeah a similar incident happened in mumbai , where in two under age teens ran into an auto early morning ... causing the auto to overturn thankfully the old couple in the rickshaw and the driver were unscathed ... but for the two boys who probably where returning home from an overnight binge were beaten up by the public and were let go ... hows that going to teach them a lesson

i am sure he was driving under influence... laws must be made more stringent against such people.
