BJP list released : Yogish Bhat, Chandrahas Ullal, Palemar, Angara, Lalaji find place

Bangalore/Mangalore, April 6, 2013: The BJP has announced its candidates for almost all the constituencies in DK and Udupi districts. The party has fielded four time MLA Yogish Bhat from Mangalore South and former minister Krishna Palemar from Mangalore South.

bhatkrshina 1 From Mangalore constituency it will be fielding Chandrahas Ullal. He will be up against UT Khader, sitting MLA of the Congress.

If Congress has announced JR Lobo from Mangalore South who will face Yogish Bhat, the party is yet to announce its candidate from Mangalore North.

The other BJP candidates are Rajesh Naik from Bantwal, S Angara from Sullia, Lalaji Mendon from Kaup, Sukumar Shetty from Byndoor and V Sunil Kumar from Karkala.

As already announced, Sudhaker Shetty will be the party candidate from Udupi.

Earlier, on April 5, Friday, the BJP announced its first of 140 candidates in Delhi, ensuring tickets for most of the sitting MLAs and ministers. The Congress that is dreaming of coming back to power denied to it since 2004 finally managed to release its first list of 170 candidates. The Congress list also ensures tickets to most of the party’s sitting MLAs
