Focus on Bridge Classes

As academic activities commence, priority will be given to bridge classes aimed at helping students transition smoothly from the previous year’s syllabus to the new curriculum. Teachers have made arrangements to assess learning levels and provide the necessary academic support.

Midday Meal Scheme Resumes

The midday meal programme will also resume from June 2. Schools have completed preparations, including kitchen cleaning, inspection of cooking equipment, ensuring the availability of LPG cylinders, and stocking essential supplies. Students will be served payasam along with the midday meal on the opening day.

District and taluk-level officials will visit schools to monitor reopening celebrations and ensure the smooth conduct of academic activities. With the onset of the monsoon season, special attention has been given to student safety, including checks on school buildings, electrical systems, drinking water facilities, and overall campus safety.

Admission Drive Begins

An admission drive will also be launched alongside the new academic year. Awareness campaigns and outreach programmes will be conducted to boost enrolment in government schools. The Education Department has initiated a special campaign to identify out-of-school children and bring them back into the mainstream education system.

The Education Department, school management committees, teachers, and local communities have joined hands to make the start of the academic year memorable and ensure quality education for students. School campuses are once again expected to come alive with the voices and enthusiasm of children.
