Joanna Rachel Vas, the head of Marketing and Business Development at Coppernicus Mobility Pvt Ltd, in her inaugural address spoke about how business and sustainably can co-exist. Business and industry are the culprits of all environmental issues.
She has been working with a motive to bring India back on pedals. This initiative has reduced almost 8000-kg of carbon dioxide within a year. Besides this, she has launched a campaign called, ‘Kiss the Bonda’ which avoids the usage of single-use plastic.

AIMIT Director Rev Fr Denzil Lobo SJ  addressed the issue of climate change caused by global warming by quoting the words of Pope Francis ‘Crime against nature is a crime against  ourselves’. The issue of climate change can be put an end by the radical change in our lifestyle and consumption habits to save our planet. He also shed light on doing something different, instead of going with the flow by bringing changes in our lifestyle for a lasting change. The event was an enthusiastic effort.
