37 fresh Covid-19 cases in DK, Udupi reports 8

Mangaluru, Jan 15, 2021: As many as 37 people tested positive to Covid-19 on Friday. With the fresh confirmed infections, Dakshina Kannada district’s total tally of Covid-19 cases stood at 33,374.
As many as 732 deaths have occured so far in the district.
The district has 417 active cases undergoing treatment at hospitals, Covid Care centres and in home isolation.
As many as 43 patients had recovered and discharged from hospital on Friday, taking the total number of recoveries to 32,525.
In Udupi
A total of 8 people in the district tested positive for Covid-19 and the total number of cases stood at 23,213 as on Friday.
As many as 19 patients had recovered and discharged from hospital on Friday, while there are 41 avtive cases.
As many as 189 deaths have occured so far.
