2-day national fest Sustantivo 2011 inaugurated at St. Agnes College

Mangalore, Nov 28, 2011: Lakshmi Kumaran, the DGM of MRPL inaugurated a 2-day national inter-collegiate festival called Sustantivo 2011 hosted by St. Agnes College on Nov 28 Monday. Principal Sr. Prem D’Souza presided. An attractive procession to the venue marked the beginning of the event. 

Over 20 colleges are participating in this event, which is classified into arts, science, and management/commerce categories. Events such as tattoo making, mock press, face painting, vegetable carving, creative writing, and variety show will form the highlights of this festival. Other attractive events are bus maze, song spoof, RJ, spin in tale, report making, and cooking without fire. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A fund-raising fete, organized as part of the institution’s 100th anniversary celebrations by the college’s alumni association, will be held during this festival, and the funds raised will be used for the education of poor students. 

Prof. Malini Hebbar, the convener of Sustantivo 2011, delivered the welcome address. Soudamini Chandarana, the president, delivered the vote of thanks. 

The valedictory ceremony will be held on Nov 29.
