PM Modi Shares Images of Destroyed Lashkar Camps in First Mann Ki Baat After Operation Sindoor

Mangalore Today News Network

New Delhi, May 25, 2025: In his first "Mann Ki Baat" radio address since the launch of Operation Sindoor, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday shared images of terror camps destroyed by the Indian armed forces in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

Mann Ki Baat After Operation Sindoor

The operation was launched on May 7, following the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, which was found to have cross-border links. Indian forces targeted and destroyed multiple camps operated by terror groups including Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), and Hizbul Mujahideen.

During his address, PM Modi praised the precision and effectiveness of the strikes. He highlighted the success of the overnight missile attacks that hit four terror camps in Pakistan and five in PoK.

Among the destroyed sites in PoK were the Gulpur and Abbas camps located in Kotli, and the Barnala camp in Bhimber — all shown in visuals shared by the Prime Minister.

The name Operation Sindoor refers to the traditional red vermilion powder worn by married Hindu women, symbolizing a protective and sacred bond.
