Vishwas Trust holds Festival Month February for senior citizens

Mangalore, Mar 13, 2012 : Vishwas Trust, which focuses on senior citizen welfare, organized Festival Month February, as part of its annual activities in Roshni Nilaya on March 12 Monday.

Loretta Rebello, the president of Mangalore Ladies Club, distributed prizes won by senior citizens in competitions organized for them throughout the Festival Month February.

Speaking as the chief guest of the event, Ms. Rebello said that the senior generation needs to be empowered for the welfare of the younger generations. Urging the elderly to take up challenges just as they had in the earlier stages of their life, she said that the elderly need to be kept occupied in a constructive manner.

Vishwas Trust Director Olinda Pereira and Santhosh Kumar Kadri were also present.
